LAMP GREAT LIZARD

An ambient lamp or a large sculpture made of light clay, decorated with green and grey engobes and finished with a glossy transparent glaze. The hollow body of the lizard features a ceramic hook at neck height for attaching a simple textile cable with a bulb. The white electrical cord with a switch doesn’t disturb the overall impression — on the contrary, it suggests that the lizard can provide a pleasant, intimate light for illuminating, say, a bookshelf or sideboard.

Each object is made as a one-of-a-kind piece. Creating an identical one wouldn’t be possible — nor something I’d want to try. If the piece is sold but you still feel you must have it, please get in touch. It’s always possible to make a similar one to order.
