DRAGON VASE

A vase made of light clay, decorated with red and white engobes and finished with a transparent glaze. The figure is shaped to disguise its function — without a flower, it stands as a confident dragon. It rests on three skulls, which lend the massive figure a sense of lightness as well as surprising stability, allowing the tail to remain only vestigial. (But yes, it has one.)

Each object is made as a one-of-a-kind piece. Creating an identical one wouldn’t be possible — nor something I’d want to try. If the piece is sold but you still feel you must have it, please get in touch. It’s always possible to make a similar one to order. The process and delivery may take some time — I kindly ask for your patience. But once it’s yours, it will be forever, so a few weeks of waiting might be worth it.
